Incredible India !

stock photo : Frightened woman with her hand extended trying to stop any coming danger on a black background

We live in a country where pizza delivery arrives faster than the police. We live in a country where sex determination before birth still exist. We live in a country where parents kill their daughters because they are born female. India has been proclaimed as an indwpendent country since 1947 and we have celebrated 65 years of freedom yet child labour persists. We pledge that all Indians are my brothers and sisters yet these same men lays their cruel eyes upon her. Women are not slaves neither are they his servants to spend their life in the kitchen mentally harassed and physically abused. Being born a girl is never a crime, if there were no ladies men wouldnt know whats sunshine. Women to have feelings, but why is that men wet their pants when he sees her in short dresses? Times passes and world changes drastically, within no time a village becomes a metropolitian city yet people and their old thoughts remains the same.Women still cannot safely travel alone at any time, whether its day or night, because there are beasts who upon a chance eats her without humanity and exposes her without shame to the world. The memory of Soumya and Sujaya Basak still remains fresh in our minds. Damini will also b another victim who came infront of media and her case will soon turn into paper bits because we have a law which shall twist and turn and make her feel sympathetic for her crime leading those vampires to wander free.
Really our India is incredible, we consider our India to be a mother and inturn men rape's HER children without mercy. Shame on you men!

Two days over huh! Who'z next???

It takes ages to find the real person underneath. It had hardly been five months and my room mates could give an entire biography of me, amazing, though I didn't pay much attention. sitting on the platform, waiting for the train to arrive, my friend sat by my side, I on the other, was busy with one hand on phone, texting to a senior, the other one scratching my itching head (the hostel water drained out the life of my hair), both my eyes scanning the passing passengers, surrounded by the hustle-bustle, my ears tried hard to concentrate her words. The cold wind made us shiver but it bothered neither of us, we sat talking utter rubbish in the middle of the station. After two minutes I switched off my phone, no, it wasn’t that the battery was about to drain of, just for a horror. She suddenly paused and scanned me and asked "Two days over huh! Who'z next???", I gave her a naughty smile and winked, she told that I'm crazy,(not a new fact) and left. It’s after all human mind, hard to stay on to something for a long period, dude everyone needs a change! Even though my philosophies don’t change, they actually work in changing my decent friends. My best friend recently had a break up, though it was me who ended up being upset, she didn’t actually seem to care, (after all I made her that way!). She called me one night, soaked in tears, hardly being able to speak, we ended up talking all night, the funny part being I was the one who changed her status (yes, a new trouble!), she stated his last sentence to her "Enjoy life like Dhanu, she knows how to handle!" (Ya! Right...!!!). She laughed over the phone loudly after the statement and said "I tried being like you, it didn’t work!", was that a compliment or a criticism, I’m still working hard to figure it out.
